In my book, “Move the Crowd: 30 Days of Hip Hop Affirmations to Change Your Life,” I speak about how I used a “I will not lose,” mindset before a job interview, a presentation or meeting with potential clients. For me it was my, “Lucky Shoes.” Now we both know there was nothing lucky about those shoes, but it allowed me to have the right mental framework to make things happen.
