A Tribe Called Quest Tribute feat. Sadat X, Charlie Brown, Dinco D, Dres, Buckshot

Buckshot, Sadat X, Charlie Brown, Dinco D and Dres got together with Revive Da Live Big Band to pay tribute to A Tribe Called Quest at Harlem Stage in New York. They performed some of Tribe’s classic cuts.
By the looks of things, it’s been a long time. Who ever thought Charlie Brown would be anything besides a beanpole? He could paraphrase Q-Tip’s line on Bonita Applebum: “I gained 20 pounds, 6 inches wider…”

Audio Session: Cosmo Baker-4th Pyrmid w/ Greg Nice – It’s So Hot (single)

Something a little interesting, maybe. Posted this video primarily to see what was up with Greg Nice lately but you decide about the track.

Audio Session: De La Soul – Must B The Music (single)

And you thought they were just doing old school shows.  Its De La Soul back with the first single from their new album called “De La Soul’s Plug 1 & Plug 2 Present First Serve”.  I guess by emphasizing the Plug 1 and 2 parts of their name MAYBE they will throw the young cats off ’bout there hip hop roots. Cool video, but what up with Trugoy (Plug 2)? We know he’s trying to be funny but he really is ALL swolled up lookin like Rick Ross.  He was never a skinny boy by any means but life is definitely treating him right.
