This week its the group the Lifesavas hailing from Portland OR consisting of group members Vursatyl, Jumbo the 
Garbageman, and Dj Shines. The group’s first album Spirit in Stone dropped in 2003, we are featuring the second release Gutterfly. Guterfly is sort of a concept album with the two emcees making a soundtrack for a never completed blaxpoitaion film of the same name, this is just to make the album intersting its not true. Anyhoo, take a listen. Don’t forget, these are not the complete songs—just 90-second clips so you can get a feel for the music. If you like what you hear, go out and buy the CD.
